Premier Volleyball League (PVL)
What is PVL?
Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is the highest level club-representative volleyball competition in South East Queensland organised by Volleyball Queensland. The Senior PVL season runs from May to mid September for both men and women in Premier, Divisions 1, 2 and 3. The Junior PVL consisting of Premier Junior (previously known as U19A) U19 (previously known as U19B), U17 and U15, and the season runs from June to mid September. Dragons fields teams in all divisions.
Playing for Dragons
We have a long history of developing athletes to achieve their potential, and many of our players are past and present state and national representatives. While our members are passionate about their volleyball, and many love to be competitive, the club fosters an attitude of fairness, fun and friendship. Dragons was won the Club Championships for 2020, 2019, 2017 and 2013!

Dragons is one of the few clubs with dedicated coaches who are able to assist you to develop your skills throughout the season. Boris, Paul and Angel have decades of experience coaching both experienced and emerging athletes, and have been involved in representative coaching roles at state and national levels. They will be supported by team coaches who will be introduced to you during pre-season.

2021 Season General Information:
- Premier, Divisions 1, 2 and 3 and Premier Junior (previously known as U19A) teams will train on a week night and compete on Sundays.
- U19 (previously known as U19B), U17 and U15 teams will train on a week night and compete Friday nights.
- Games for Premier, Divisions 1, 2 and 3 starts 9 May. Games for Premier Junior starts 6 June. Games for U19, U17 and U15 starts 4 June.
- All semi-finals are on Sunday 5 September, and grand finals are on Sunday 12 September.

2021 PVL trials for Men and Women Premier Division, Divisions 1 , 2 and 3
PVL Season Fees (includes training and games for the season. Excludes VQ registration):
- $395.00 (Premier Men and Women)
- $450 (Divisions 1, 2 and 3 Men and Women)
2021 Junior PVL trials for Junior Premier (previously known as U19A), U19 (previously known as U19B), U17 and U15
The Junior PVL trials have concluded. Contact Head of Junior Programs/Junior PVL Coordinator, Angel Scanlon, if you are interested to be part of Dragons Junior PVL 2021.
There are 4 divisions in Junior PVL:
- Premier Junior (previously known as U19 A Division) - born 2003 and younger
- U19 boys and girls (previously known as U19 B Division) - born 2003 and younger
- U17 boys and girls (born 2005 and younger)
- U15 boys and girls (born 2007 and younger)
PVL Season Fees (includes training and games for the season. Excludes VQ registration):
- $450.00 (Premier Junior)
- $425.00 (U19, U17 and U15)
Becoming a Dragons Member
Players selected in a team will need to sign up with Dragons as a member if you are new to the club, or renew your membership if you are an exisiting Dragons member. We will provide details on this after the team lists are announced.
