What is Flaming Chalice?

Dragons Volleyball Association runs its Flaming Chalice Tournament each year on the Labour Day long weekend (first weekend in May).

This event has been running every year since 1991. Flaming Chalice is the largest association-run tournament in Queensland attracting teams from as far afield as Townsville, Dalby and Sydney, as well as Queensland Representative Teams and occasionally international teams.

Usually more than 90 teams participate across the 12 divisions!

COVID information:

Flaming Chalice 2021 will be operating in a COVID-Safe manner. We will provide more details about these changes as they are finalised. If you have any concerns, please reach out to our Tournament Director at chalicetd@dragons.org.au

Costs:

Open teams: $450 | School-aged teams: $390

_{Discounts will be applied for Early Bird payments received by the 31st of March. Refunds will be accepted for withdrawals up until 5pm 21^st April. Late refund requests due to COVID-19 will be considered on a case by case basis.}
