Spikezone

Spikezone is a specially modified game of mini-volleyball designed by the AVF (Australian Volleyball Federation) for primary school students (ages 9-12) with the focus of foundational learning.

The modifications to the program include:

- Smaller courts
- Lowered net height (1.9m)
- A softer and lighter ball
- Less players on court
- Modified rules for ease of playing

Newcomers who wish to participate in Spikezone will first need to sign up for the Spikezone membership. While still logged in, register for the summer holiday program via "EVENTS", select Spikezone for level and registration type.

Junior Training Program

Our Junior Training Program (JTP) is a training development program designed for high school students and teenagers up to 19 years old, to learn and develop the skills and fundamental of volleyball, at the same time learn the importance of teamwork. JTP is great for players currently training in schools and wanting extra trainings or are new to the sport and wanting to learn.

There are four levels in the program–Beginners, Development, Intermediate and Advanced. Players will be assessed and allocated to the suitable level/group. Trainings usually run during school terms and you will have the flexibility to sign up on a term-by-term basis and registration will be accepted anytime during the term.

If you have participated in JTP term 4: You will need to register for the same level/group as term 4. For example if you were allocated Beginner group in term 4, you will register Beginner group for summer program.

Newcomers who wish to participate in JTP will first need to sign up for the JTP membership. While still logged in, register for the summer holiday program via "EVENTS". All newcomers for JTP (including current Dragons members new to Junior Programs) must register for the "JTP Newcomer" level and registration type. You will be assessed at your first session so that we can determine the level/group you will continue for the rest of the summer holiday program.
