Spikezone is a specially modified game of mini-volleyball designed by the AVF (Australian Volleyball Federation) for primary school students (ages 9-12) with the focus of foundational learning. 

The modifications to the program include:

- Smaller courts
- Lowered net height (1.9m)
- A softer and lighter ball
- Less players on court
- Modified rules for ease of playing

Spikezone is a nationally recognised program aimed at providing primary school players aged 9 to 12 the opportunity to begin volleyball at a younger age. As players mature, they have the option of continuing volleyball in Dragons' Junior Training Program. Our goal at Spikezone is to allow children to develop a love for volleyball by teaching them the foundations of volleyball while having fun at the same time. With this in mind, our coach/player ratio is 1:6.

  • Term 1 (9 weeks):

    • Fee: $144
  • Term 2:
    • Training day and start date to be advised. Ends 25 Jun.
    • Fee: To be advised
  • Term 3 (10 weeks):
    • Training day to be advised. 12 Jul - 17 Sep.
    • Fee: $1 60
  • Term 4 (8 weeks):
    • Fridays. 8 Oct - 26 Nov.
    • Fee: $128
  • Summer Holidays (5 weeks):
    • Tuesdays. 14 Dec 2020 - 18 Jan 2022 (excludes 28 Dec). 
    • Fee: $80
  • Yearly (terms 1-4, excludes summer):

    • Fee: $532 (10% dsiscount)

Time:
